Overseas Workers Welfare Administration

First of all I'm Jennifer Casanova-Blanco an OFW worked on Israel as a caregiver. With these opportunity Tulay program as I've already said on my other website I really appreciate and thankful enough. Thru Ms. Jovy Ann Madayag, my friend who insist me to come and have this training so I've started last March 2009. Eventhough many challenges in life is try to move on....Then I've studied as a caregiver in Corazon Ortega Skills Training at TESDA compound, City of San Fernando, La Union have gone trainings and seminars so by this time December 2010 I confirm Ms.Anna May R. Guzman to come back and refresh to study computer programs.Luckily, now I've continued to pursue these training. With these program I also include and approach my brother Jomar Casanova and friends like Girlie Campos so I'm thankful to Ms. Ana May.

Tulay is a part of Microsoft Unlimited Potential Community Technology Skills Program, a global initiative aimed at providing technology focused on improving lifelong earning for undeserved youth and adults. Tulay utilizes the Unlilimited Potential-Curriculum - customizable training modules - to train OFWs and their families learn in the basics of computer applications such as MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel as well as an internet and e-mail use, spreadsheet and database applications.

Through the Microsoft Unlimited Potential Community Technology Skills Program, the global initiative that focuses on improving lifelong earning for undeserved communities by providing technology skills. These new IT skills can further help them become more competitive in pursuing a career in the country upon their return.

These project also aims to address the primary issue of family disintegration. It is hoped that through the project, arising from form OFWs prolonged separation from their families will be greatly minimized and as it mitigates the social impact of being away from home because of the accessiblity and ease of using technology to connect and communicate to loved ones at home.

Thank you and More Power.
